Children (6 to 12)

Play is the language of children. Play Therapy allows children to communicate and process in their own way. For children, therapy can be an intimating experience. Play Therapy introduces self-expression and self actualization in a fun and enjoyable way. Through Play Therapy children can learn to reduce stress, connect with others, and effectively regulate their emotions.

Adolescents (13 to 18)

For adolescents managing intense emotions, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) helps to teach them the skills for understanding, managing, and regulating their emotions. This type of therapy also helps to increase self-awareness and problem solving skills. DBT is an evidence based practice shown to be effective with issues such as: impulsive/disruptive behaviors, mood swings, self-injurious and suicidal behaviors, depression and anxiety, conflict/anger outbursts, and poor coping skills.

Adults (18+)

Individual or Family Therapy are effective in helping adults work through the issues disrupting their lives. Each of these therapies help to bring them closer to their loved ones, reduce conflict in their lives, and learn self-love and inner peace.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is an evidence based practice that takes a goal-oriented practical approach to problem-solving. CBT is helpful in changing the patterns of thinking or behaviors that influence emotions.

Narrative Therapy is a treatment built on the belief that people are the experts in their own lives and the author of their stories. Through Narrative Therapy adults learn to view their problems separate from themselves and author a future they feel they deserve.

Couples (18+)

Gottman Couples Therapy is an approach to help couples in disarming communication stuck in conflict. This approach teaches skills for couples to increase intimacy, respect, and affection as well as improve their friendship, deepen their emotional connection, and create change.
